This is a deep dive into all the tools and techniques you need on the business side of being a working voice actor.  We will cover the essentials and transform the way you think about the business side! 

If you're a complete beginner to working in voiceover, then this will provide an essential checklist that you can refer to throughout your development.  And if you're a more experienced voice actor, we will find effective strategies to supplement your current marketing efforts and set yourself up for the next phase of your vo career.

• How to brand, pitch and market yourself authentically!
• Delving into different income streams, from pay-to-play, breakdowns, casting sites, etc. with their pros and cons for each.
• How to create an outreach and follow-up plan for the perfect rep for you! 
• What to expect when you get a possible option with an agent/manager and how to prepare effectively. How to create and refine your online presence for social media.
• How to compose, organize and execute a sustained marketing campaign.
• Create personal goals for your career by being accountable to yourself and the class.
• How to set targets effectively to maintain momentum in the long term including creating a 3-5 yr/plan.

Paulette Lifton, is a multi-Emmy, SOVAS and MPSE winning Sound/ADR Supervisor on shows like Kung Fu Panda and SpongeBob Squarepants. She was Co-Producer and Casting Director of the animated series, Spy Kids: Mission Critical for Netflix. Ms. Lifton was also the casting and voice director on multiple animated and live-action features for Netflix, Amazon and Starz including the Academy Award-nominated films Lion and Carol. She voice-directed some of the top actors in the business; Meryl Streep, Ed Norton, Jim Gaffigan, Julie Andrews, Kate McKinnon, Elle Fanning, Nat Wolff and Mel Brooks. Her recent work includes casting and voice directing 2 anime series for Amazon along with an anime theatrical feature. Ms. Lifton is a founder of 3 companies, Oracle Sound and Voice, Voice Masters & The PaRé Way Talent Management. 

Jonathan Reiner, Emmy-winning showrunner and creator who began his career as an entertainment journalist before segueing into television production and then talent management. As a producer, Jonathan shepherded dynamic content for major broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. During the pandemic, he oversaw the roster at Avanti Talent Management in New York. Jonathan recently completed a stint at Citizen Skull Management representing below-the-line talent and then founding their VoiceOver division, guiding the careers of a diverse roster of veteran and emerging talent in all areas of voice performance. He is currently partnering with writers, producers and directors to develop and pitch scripted content, with plans to return to the talent management world later this year.
