FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I've never done voice-over?

Perfect, you're in the right place! We work with everyone from beginners to series regulars and VO pros! Go ahead and sign up for our 101 Voice Over class, Mastering the Art of Animation, Commercial Voice Over, or the Corporate Narration/Audiobooks class to get started!

Do you do demo reels?

Yes, absolutely! Email us @ info@voice-masters.com for more information on our SOVAS and ONE VOICE Award nominated Demo production for commercial, animation, video games, anime, dubbing, promos & narration.

What if I miss a class, can I do a makeup class?

We only allow one makeup class per student, depending on the availability of the upcoming classes. Email us @ info@voice-masters.com to check on availability.

Can I switch classes?

Due to our exclusive and limited number of students per class, cannot switch anyone into other classes. However, if you have a friend who would like to switch with you, you are welcome to do that on your own. You can also email us with your issue and make exceptions upon availability.

I don't have an agent. Can you get me one?

We are a competitive training school for voice over for animation and beyond and we make no promises of securing representation for any of our students. However, with excellent continued training, demo reels, learning the business know-how and building relationships in the industry, our students have gotten representation.

Can you cast me in your project?

Though we do cast for TV & Film as independent casting directors, again we make no guarantees of auditions or employments. We are strictly a competitive training academy. However, if you are looking to become the best actor you can be, and to become competitive with the pros, then you've come to the right place!

Does training with Voice Masters guarantee casting or representation?

No. Training with us helps you grow your skills and industry knowledge, but there are no guarantees of casting or representation. Every opportunity we offer is based on talent, professionalism, and fit for the project — not enrollment status.

Isn’t it a conflict of interest to run a school, manage talent, and also cast?

It could be — which is why we take strong ethical steps to keep these roles separate and transparent. Casting, education, and management at Voice Masters operate independently, and we openly disclose any crossover when it applies.

Will students from Voice Masters be favored in casting calls?

Absolutely not. We are committed to open and fair casting. While we’re proud of our students and clients, casting is always based on merit and project needs — not on past or present affiliation with our school or management.

If I don’t study with Voice Masters, can I still be cast?

Yes! All actors are welcome to submit for projects we cast through our independent casting. Voice Masters is a training ground, not a gatekeeper or casting service. We strongly support diverse voices from all paths and backgrounds.

Can I train, get representation, and be cast — all with Voice Masters and our other companies?

You can, but none of those are automatic or guaranteed. We offer multiple opportunities, but we keep things transparent and choice-driven. You’ll never be pressured to join one part of the company just to access another.

What is your refund policy?

Due to our exclusive and limited number of students per class, we do not do refunds at this time.
